Environmental Policy

The meaning of Solar is to derive energy from the sun so we take our environmental responsibilities very seriously.

Making sure all of our retired paper documents are securely destroyed but more importantly recycled. This saves trees and we are pleased to be able to contribute to this philosophy.

When requested to supply specified materials we will endeavour to source from suppliers local to the project, thus reducing transportation pollution, and supporting the local business community.

Being a Project Management and Design company we are also aware of the environmental impact of all electrical and non-electrical equipment specified by us.

Working within the WEEE directive, we will try very hard with the assistance of our customers and our sub-contractors to return redundant equipment back into the market place through various contacts and web sites like eBay. Or we will ensure equipment is recycled compliantly.

We do not claim to be the best when it comes to our environmental impact but our customers can be confident that we are responsible as a company and as individuals, and review all initiatives and policies. We will do our very best to move forward environmentally.
